Payroll Friends September 26th

Oh what the heck. Let go ahead and try it out gang.

I know this is going to come as quite a shock to you all, but I am not watching any TV! Okay I am taping the Biggest Loser, but Dr. Phil had Bishop T.D. Jakes on yesterday's show and it had quite an impact on both DH and I.

So I am going to get us started for tomorrow and get up and work around the house another 30 minutes, then go to bed and READ! Yes I am going to start reading again (I hope).

Tomorrow is garbage day so I am going to get that out and clean out the refrigerator. I already mopped the kitchen after cleaning up from dinner.

So my list for Wednesday:
Bathrooms are at the top of the list.
Vacuum and dust.
Dog walk only if I get the other stuff done first.

Oh and Ann, I have been forgetting my Lipitor for like two weeks now! I am back on that and my vitamin tonight!

Well I will give this a try.

Wednesday I need to

breakfast for kids
dishes
exercise
scrapbook
dinner ( chicken and noodles)

That will do it for me.
I have been trying to come down with a cold for the past few days. I have come to the conclusion that it has settled in my muscles and that is why I have been having so much pain. Hopefully it is on its way out. See you all in the morning.

Good morning Cheryl and Theresa!

It is supposed to be laundry day for me but somehow I don't see that happening as

I want to attend a presentation dowtown at noon.
Then I am meeting an associate at the other end of town at 3
Then a show opening at 8, again downtown.

The in betweens are just enough to return home, sit for a while and go out again and not enough to stay downtown, so maybe I can do floors today instead of laundry.

And I need to do some serious payroll too, but I don't see how...

Cheryl - good for you to start reading again! I too started doing that again regularly (I read a lot during vacations, days off etc but not everyday) and I really like it!

Theresa - I hope you feel better soon!

Good Morning All.

Cheryl-I just wanted to thank you for setting us up. I suppose with this blog thing, only you will be able to start us off in the mornings. Thank you for your efforts. Also, it's nice to hear that your reading again. What book have you started?

Theresa-I hope you feel better. A lot of people at work seem to be coming down with something as well.

I have been feeling very overwhelmed at work. To much to do for the advisors, and not enough time or resources to get it all done. I have been working on passing some of the lower level tasks to our admin office, but they are up to their eyeballs in a ton of stuff too. I also found out 2 more advisors will be qualifying for support but we're not allowed to hire anyone to help with the added hours that we'll be expected to give them...There's going to be some unhappy people...

Today I'm going to concentrate on getting all the compliance paperwork together and get out the advisors reimbursements. I also have to work on making client calls somewhere in between for 3 of the advisors.

I started reading The Reader. It's an Oprah's Book Club selection from some time. I bought it our church garage sale last year.

I am open to suggestions.

Theresa take care.
Mara that was my life with kids, always running here and there with barely any time to do housework.

Bratlet I have a friend in accounting who is completely overwhelmed with work. It's a good job with good pay and benefits for here, but it's stressful. I got mad yesterday about something with my work (I don't take criticism well) and she told me the same thing happens in real jobs and I am lucky to work at home. So I sucked it up and got over my bad attitude.
